Well, we are about 25 games into the 2019-20 NBA season, and there are two teams that stand above the rest. In the East, reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is leading the Milwaukee Bucks on an all-time run, as they lead the conference by three games at 20-3 overall. On the other side of the country, LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers are dominating the West at 21-3, a full four games ahead of the next team. After that, there are a ton of teams battling for the remaining playoff spots around the league. Today, we are betting on the defending NBA champion Toronto Raptors to cover on the road against the Chicago Bulls for our play of the day. One of the most polarizing players in the NBA right now is currently on the Toronto Raptors. Now, I’m sure you’re a little bit confused, because Kawhi Leonard left for the Los Angeles Clippers in the offseason. Yes, that’s true. But last season’s NBA Most Improved Player was Pascal Siakam, who was often considered Kawhi’s right hand man on last year’s title team. This year, Siakam has taken another leap forward and is even being mentioned in the NBA MVP conversation. He is currently averaging 24.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, leading the Raptors to a 15-7 record to this point in the season.

Tonight, Toronto travels to the Windy City to take on the Bulls, who have struggled to improve this season. Over the last three seasons, the Toronto Raptors are 6-3 against the spread and 9-0 straight-up against the Bulls. I think it’s safe to say that they’ve had Chicago’s number in recent seasons. Furthermore, Toronto is 52-34 ATS versus teams with a losing record over the last three seasons. The Raptors are also among the best cover teams in the NBA this season, sitting at 13-9 ATS overall in 2019, good enough for seventh in the league. On the flip side, the Bulls are just 11-13 ATS overall and 5-6 ATS at home this season. In addition, the Toronto Raptors are 3-1 ATS as road favorites this year, so throw down on the dinosaurs from the North and allow them to fill your pockets.
