We started off the week with a solid 2-for-3 performance on Monday’s NBA betting rundown, so I hope you took our advice and cashed in a little bit yesterday. Today, we are getting back after it with our three best bets for December 10th. It is a fairly light schedule tonight with just four games on the schedule, but there is still plenty of action to pad your pockets on this fine Tuesday. I am going with the Philadelphia 76ers to cover at home against the Denver Nuggets as my play of the day. Check out my NBA best bets for more insights and information on tonight’s matchups.
Philadelphia 76ers To COVER (-4) vs. Denver Nuggets (-110)
The Denver Nuggets have started to fall down the Western Conference standings the last couple weeks, but they still remain in the fourth spot heading into tonight’s matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers. Unfortunately, the Nuggets have lost four of their last five games overall, with the only win coming against the lowly Knicks during that span. On the other side, the Philadelphia 76ers are heading in the opposite direction, having won six of their last seven and 10 of their last 12 overall. They’re even coming off a hard-fought victory over the defending NBA champion Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
From a betting perspective, the Sixers are the team to take in this one, as they’ve had the Nuggets number in recent years. In fact, the Philadelphia 76ers are 4-1 against the spread versus Denver over the last three seasons. They are also 3-2 straight-up against the Nuggets during that span. In addition, the 76ers are 7-5 ATS at home this season, which is good for top-10 in that category. On the flip side, the Nuggets are just 4-5-1 ATS on the road this season, which near the bottom of the league. And while the Sixers are 7-5 ATS as home favorites in 2019, Denver is 0-1 ATS as a road underdog. Take Joel Embiid and the boys to COVER a four-point spread in Philly tonight.
