Another day, another chance to cash in on some NBA basketball. We have another loaded schedule tonight, and I’m going with some classic franchises in today’s NBA rundown. The Chicago Bulls haven’t taken that step forward just yet, but they have dominated the Grizzlies in recent years, so I am taking them for my play of the day. For more insights and information, continue reading my NBA best bets for December 4th, including LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Chicago Bulls To COVER (-6) vs. Memphis Grizzlies (-110)
The Chicago Bulls had the Jordan era in the 90s, where they experienced unmatched success. Then, they had the Derrick Rose years, where they routinely finished near the top of the East, despite failing to reach the NBA Finals due to the dominance of the Big 3 in Miami. Since then, they have not even been in the conversation among top-tier teams in the league. Well, unfortunately, not much has changed this season. With that being said, they are young and hungry, which can provide some solid betting value. Like tonight, for example.
I am taking the Chicago Bulls to COVER at home versus Memphis for my play of the day. While Chicago has been bad, Memphis is much worse. And they are struggling with injuries, as star rookie Ja Morant has been out for weeks. In addition, key players like Kyle Anderson, Brandon Clarke and Jonas Valanciunas have been in and out of the lineup. Furthermore, the Bulls are 5-0 against the spread and 5-0 straight-up versus Memphis over the last three seasons. In addition, Chicago is 3-1 ATS as a home favorite in 2019. I like Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine and the boys to take care of business against an undermanned, bad team at home.
