It’s on to Week 9 in college football and we’ll have tons of opportunities to cash in on DraftKings. So who are the best Week 9 NCAA DFS players to target for your daily fantasy lineup? Read on as we lay out the best quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers to target with our favorite Saturday, October 26 DFS picks.
Sam Ehlinger, Texas, $7,900
Match-up: #15 Texas @ TCU
Game Info: Saturday, October 26th, 3:30 pm ET
The last time we took Sam Ehlinger in college football DFS, all the Texas QB did was account for four total touchdowns and 31.9 DraftKings fantasy points. We’re going back to the well with the Longhorns signal caller in Week 9 with a match-up with TCU on the docket.
Ehlinger has been a DFS darling in 2019, eclipsing 30 DKFP five times in seven games. He was absolutely brilliant his last time on the field, balling out for 43.1 DraftKings fantasy points in the Longhorns’ 50-48 shootout win against Kansas last weekend.
Better yet, Ehlinger has been ridiculously reliable outside of Austin. In his last eight games played on the road or at a neutral site, Ehlinger has averaged 33.6 DKFP in those outings. He went for 25.3 DKFP after accounting for three total touchdowns against TCU last season.
It’s been good to see him pound in four rushing touchdowns in his last three games after accounting for only one rushing touchdown in Texas’ first four games. If Ehlinger keeps finding the end zone on the ground like he did as a sophomore (16 rushing TDs), he could be in for another big day for your DFS squad.
