Pitcher

Dallas Keuchel, ATL vs. STL, $6,800

Priced as the #3 starting pitcher on Thursday’s 2-game slate of NLDS action, Dallas Keuchel offers up some intriguing value for a guy with a really good run of postseason success. For the 2019 season, Keuchel was nails at home, posting a 2.74 ERA at SunTrust Park compared to 5.01 away from home. Even including a 5-run outing against the Phils on September 17th, Keuchel posted a 2.57 ERA across his last six home starts on the year.

Then there’s Keuchel’s postseason pedigree: in 10 postseason outings (9 starts), Keuchel has a solid 3.31 ERA. Even better, Keuchel’s home postseason ERA is at a sparkling 2.22 in 5 home starts. In three career Division Series starts, Keuchel is 2-0 with a 2.04 ERA. On the value end, feel confident in the quality returns you can get from the former Cy Young winner today.

Catcher

Yadier Molina, STL @ ATL, $3,800

Fading Will Smith and his .211 average against lefties as the highest-priced catcher for Thursday’s NLDS Game 1 DFS lineup, let’s go with Yadier Molina behind the dish. On his 2019 season, Molina hit a slick .320 with a .395 OBP against left-handed pitching. Molina finished the season strong, batting .285 with 6 home runs in the second half. Molina is a career .291 hitter against the Braves as well as a .280 hitter for his lifetime on the road.

He’s homered twice in eight career games at SunTrust Park and ended the year hitting .319 with 2 homers in his final 11 games. He’s also got 2 doubles in 5 lifetime at-bats against Dallas Keuchel, so watch out for Yadi to make a difference at just under four grand.
