It’s on to Week 3 in college football! With a fun slate of early-season games coming our way, that also means that we’ll have tons of opportunities to cash in on DraftKings. So who are the best Week 3 NCAA DFS players to target for your daily fantasy lineup? Read on as we lay out the best quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers to target with our favorite Saturday, September 14 DFS picks.

Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama, $9,000

Match-up: #2 Alabama @ South Carolina
Game Info: Saturday, September 14th, 3:30 pm ET

Despite being a part of two massive blowouts (39 and 52 points), Tua Tagovailoa has still put up big-time DFS numbers through Bama’s first two games on the year. The elite Heisman contender has gone for 4 total touchdowns in each of the Crimson Tide’s pair of games and has the country’s best wide receiving corps to throw to.

In Alabama’s 2018 SEC opener, Tagovailoa didn’t need to see the field too long as Bama rolled Ole Miss on the road 62-7. Up 49-0 at the half, Tagovailoa finished the game with 191 passing yards, 2 touchdowns and 47 yards on the ground. In total, Tagovailoa finished with 33.94 DraftKings fantasy points against Duke and 30.38 DKFP against New Mexico State a week ago. If he can play beyond halftime, there’s no doubt he’ll be up and over that 30 DKFP threshold again.

In his final three SEC road games of 2018, Tagovailoa put up 33.06, 31.84 and 29.70 DKFP. Trailing only Spencer Sanders (Oklahoma State, $9,300) and Justin Fields (Ohio State, $9,200) for the honors of being the highest-priced QB for Sunday’s all-day slate, invest confidently in Tua on the road.
