I’m starting to think I’ll reflect on baseball betting fondly when the regular season is behind us. I mean, we’re still going to bet the playoffs, obviously, but gone will be the days in which we could go big on the over in a game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners.
I know, I said that wouldn’t be the case, but that was before this extended hot streak started. Our 2-1 day yesterday brought us to 8-4-2 in our last 14 picks for a profit of $336. We’re building momentum now, folks, and it looks like we’ve got a pretty solid shot at ending the season with an exclamation point.
We’ve got to give credit where credit is due before we get into today’s picks. Massive shout out to my two underdog plays – the Cardinals ML and the Cubs RL – for getting it done yesterday. Neither play was ever in doubt, I don’t care what anyone says. Was the St. Louis game tied at one point? Yeah, but I’d be lying to you if I said I was nervous. Don’t even get me started on the Cubs run line. Chicago, at home against Cinncinati, with Cole Hamels pitching? Sign me up immediately. I mean, the dude walked five batters and gave up two earned in 3.1 and the Cubs still won by six.
Before you ask, I don’t think this newfound success is making me too confident.
I’m feeling good about our prospects to keep this thing rolling today. I’ve got some action on the two best over teams in baseball in the Pirates and the Mariners, a low-scoring affair in the desert between the Diamondbacks and Marlins, and a slugfest in St. Louis with the Nationals in town.
Let’s acquire some currency, my dudes.
