We are two weeks into the college football season, and there has already been some movement in the Heisman Trophy conversation. One glaring absence in the top-10 is QB Adrian Martinez of Nebraska, who opened the season with the eighth-best odds to win the award but fell to +15000 after the Cornhuskers were upset by Colorado in week 2. On the flip side, QB Joe Burrow took advantage of a huge opportunity against a top-10 program, and after defeating Texas, his Heisman odds skyrocketed. Now, he’s tied with Bama QB Tua Tagovailoa for the second-best odds to take home the prestigious trophy. The LSU quarterback is certainly throwing a wrench in the bettors that took Trevor and Tua against the field.
There will continue to be movement near the top, as more teams lose and other players have breakout games. Without further ado, here are the updated 2019 Heisman Trophy odds.
