Another day, another 2-1 slate of NFL Preseason picks.
That has become the storyline for our NFL Exhibition Betting Rundowns as of late. We haven’t hit an elusive 3-0 day yet, but betting in the preseason is like betting on a curve, in the sense that a 2-1 day is equivalent to a 3-0 regular season day.
That logic checks out to me. So, in other words, we’re in for a very lucrative stretch when these games start to matter.
Yesterday, we got burned by a dud in New England between the Patriots and the Panthers, but the Ravens and the Raiders picked up the slack. Name a time that preseason Jim Harbaugh or Jon Gruden has ever let you down.
Anyway, we’ve got some pretty appealing plays ahead of today’s slate. Pete Carroll’s looking to bounce back from an uncharacteristic loss against the spread last week, Matt Nagy’s Bears are heavy underdogs against Frank Reich’s starter-less Colts and the new preseason spread king Mike Zimmer is taking on a rookie head coach in Kliff Kingsbury.
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it countless times – the games might not matter, but the money you win most certainly does.
