We’ve had to wait for far too long, but we’re finally here. We’ve finally got actual, competitive football to bet on. We’ve waited since February for an actual game, I guess I apply the term to that Rams and Patriots Super Bowl pretty loosely, but either way, real football is back.

We’ve got some solid Week 0 matchups that we can get our feet wet with tonight, featuring some pretty notable programs. The Florida Gators open the season ranked No. 8 in the initial poll and their first test will come in the form of their inter-state rival Miami Hurricanes. On the other side, second-year Kevin Sumlin and the Arizona Wildcats are set to open the season at Aloha Stadium, roughly 3,000 miles away from Tucson against the Rainbow Warriors.

The latter is definitely going to be more difficult to get a beat on.

In any case, we’re here to try and help you make sense of it all. Is there a shootout brewing in Oahu between the Rainbow Warriors and the Wildcats? Are the Florida Gators going to march through the Hurricanes? I mean, we’re pretty sure of both those things.

That being said, here’s why those are our two favorite plays from Saturday’s opening slate.
