While everyone in the United States is beginning to gear up for football season, with college football starting in a couple weeks and the NFL set to kick off in the first week of September, there are plenty of basketball fans preparing for the upcoming 2019 FIBA World Cup. The global tournament starts on August 31st in China, and Team USA will begin their group stage campaign on September 1st against the Czech Republic.
Obviously, the U.S. roster has been a huge topic of conversation over the last couple weeks, as many of the NBA’s biggest stars have pulled out of camp and decided not to participate in the international competition.
