Miles Mikolas, STL @ MIA, $7,200
Although his road returns have been poor for the most part, it’s hard to not take a pitcher facing the Marlins offense. No team has scored fewer runs (223) than Miami this season and their team batting average of .234 ranks as the seventh-worst in baseball. The Marlins have dropped six in a row, scoring one or fewer runs in five of those outings. Mikolas was a road warrior a year ago (10-0 in 16 road starts in 2018) and has a brilliant chance to get back on track (7.52 ERA in six road starts in 2019). He should be good after taking a comebacker off the arm his last time out and has a chance to really deal.
Robinson Chirinos, HOU vs. MIL, $4,200
On an absolute power surge since the calendar flipped to June, we’re rolling with the hot bat of Robinson Chirinos to complete our battery today. Chirinos has homered in five of his last seven games for the Astros, and has averaged nearly 15 DKFP per game in those ballgames. The Astros have won each of the last eight games which Chirinos has started, and 10 of his 11 home runs on the year have come against righties like Brandon Woodruff. Invest confidently in Chirinos behind the dish tonight.
