Point Guard

Start ‘Em: Stephen Curry, GSW @ HOU, $9,300

Kevin Durant is out with an ankle injury, which means we’re ready to spend big on Steph. Klay Thompson ($7,200) will be targeted plenty at the SG position as well, but Curry could be in for a night of massive usage in Houston. He’s hit for 47.75 and 51.75 DKFP in his two games against Houston this year, both netting at least 5x ROI. Turn to Mike Conley ($7,800) for a quality under $8,000 pivot but if you’re willing to spend in the $9,000s and above for a point guard, make it Steph tonight.

Value: Ish Smith, DET @ MIA, $4,100 (8.32x)

Kris Dunn raked in major value for us at this spot a day ago (8.32x), so hopefully we can channel that same success with Ish Smith. The Pistons point guard has returned a minimum of 7x value in four of his last six games, and has been over 5x in five of those half-dozen games as well. His minutes will buoy in between the mid and high 20s, and his ability to dish and grab a sneaky good amount of boards for a six-footer has led to good DFS returns. For a low-end value play at the point, look to Ish Smith tonight.

Shooting Guard

Start ‘Em: James Harden, HOU vs. GSW, $11,200 (8.03x)

The reigning MVP has produced some consistent excellence at home of late, hitting for at least 57 DKFP and 5x value in his last three at the Toyota Center (including that ridiculous 95.25 DKFP night against Miami on February 28th). Relatively speaking (he’s averaging 36.2 ppg for crying out loud), he’s been in a scoring slump his last two games with just 20 and 28 points put up in his last two. He’ll hope to channel his scoring mojo that he had his last time against Golden State, erupting like only James Harden can for 91 DKFP back on January 3rd. He can lead DraftKings in scoring on any given night, and he’s a prime bounce-back candidate tonight at home against the Dubs.

Value: Avery Bradley, MEM @ ATL, $4,800 (6.63x)

It’s amazing how much a change of scenery can do for an athlete. Avery Bradley is the latest iteration of a trade success story. Since joining the Grizzlies, Bradley has put up some massive DFS games. He’s over 7x value in five of his last seven games coming in and has hit for at least 6.8x ROI in eight of his last 11 in total. He’ll get a match-up with the up-tempo Hawks tonight and will have another quality opportunity for big value returns.

Small Forward

Start ‘Em: Kelly Oubre, PHX vs. UTA, $6,200

So uh, one of the hottest teams in the West right now is… the Suns? Phoenix has rattled off four wins in their last five, including a pair of stunners against the Bucks and in Oakland against the Warriors. Kelly Oubre has been a driving force in those games (53.75 DKFP in the win over Milwaukee), and has dropped at least 30 DKFP in six straight games. He’s the No. 4 small forward offered on DraftKings tonight and is an excellent high-volume play who has at least one steal and one block in five straight games.

Value: Kyle Korver, UTA @ PHX, $3,900

A snoozer on Monday against OKC snapped an excellent run of value performances from Utah’s sharpshooter. Entering Monday, Korver had a sweet streak of five straight games with at least 5x ROI (including four nights of at least 20 DKFP). The Suns have the fourth-worst 3-point defense in the league (opposition hits 36.6% of their treys) which means Korver could have more than his fair share of open looks tonight and in turn lead to sneaky good ROI.

Power Forward

Start ‘Em: Aaron Gordon, ORL @ WAS, $6,700

As the No. 4 power forward on the board tonight, Aaron Gordon has a chance for some sound returns against a sub-par Wizards team. Gordon has previous success this season against Washington, hitting for 43.50 and 47.75 DKFP in his last two match-ups with the Wizards. Bobby Portis ($6,200) is another outstanding forward to target from this game in the mid-tier price range, but we love AG’s upside tonight in D.C. with his well-rounded game.

Value: Kenneth Faried, HOU vs. GSW, $5,100

Faried returned from a hip injury on Monday after missing his previous five games only to return an impressive 30.75 DKFP (6.4x ROI) in not even 20 minutes of play. He’ll ideally be in the mid-20s in minutes tonight against the Warriors, but his relentless style of play and pick-and-roll partnership with James Harden makes him one of the most consistent value big men plays you can find. He’s been over 30 DKFP in all seven home games as a Rocket and has averaged just shy of 36 DKFP in those contests, roll with the Manimal tonight.

Center

Start ‘Em: Deandre Ayton, PHX vs. UTA, $6,300

We get that going against Rudy Gobert ($8,200) and Utah makes for a tough assignment but seriously? Only $6,300 for Deandre Ayton? The rookie with 34 double-doubles on the year (12th most in the NBA, only one fewer than Anthony Davis) is being offered at his lowest salary since December 10th which has us eager to buy. He represents a good mid-tier play for a Suns team that’s suddenly won four of five and playing spoiler down the stretch. Ayton’s gone for a minimum of 5x value in four of those games, including 6x or better in three of them. He’s a good under-the-radar start tonight as the No. 10 center available.

Value: Jarrett Allen, BKN @ OKC, $4,700

Currently on a nice little three-game streak of at least 28 DKFP and 5.9x value, Jarrett Allen is a good sub-$5k value play tonight at the center position. He’s been damn good on the road of late as well, going for at least 7.1x value in three of his last four away from home. He had 32 DKFP in the Nets’ only other match-up with OKC this season on December 5th, and is a good bet to keep the good DFS juju rolling Wednesday night against a Thunder team allowing the third-most DKFP to opposing centers.
