14 games, 28 teams, and so many daily fantasy options! With nearly every NHL team hitting the ice tonight, the DFS lineup possibilities are endless. That’s where Betsology comes in, as we’re here to help you put together the best possible roster for the crazy night of hockey ahead.

*All dollar values according to DraftKings as of 2/7/19.

Start ‘Em: Jake Guentzel, PIT @ FLA, $6,300

Riding in the passenger seat of Sidney Crosby’s top line is a nice place to be for any forward. And lately, Jake Guentzel has been the biggest beneficiary of this spot, but that’s not to say the winger hasn’t earn all his praise. Guentzel has 130 points so far in his short, 175-game career. The natural center leads the Penguins with 26 goals on the year, and is fourth in overall scoring behind the likes of Crosby, Phil Kessel and Evgeni Malkin. Guentzel is hitting the back of the net at an incredible 17.5 percent rate. That’s the highest of any Pens’ skater.

Best Value: Corey Perry, ANA @ OTT, $5,300

Welcome back, Corey Perry! The former Hart Trophy winner recently returned from a torn meniscus. He’s played three games and registered one assist. There is no better opponent for a breakout game than tonight’s foe, the Ottawa Senators. The Sens have given up 199 goals this season; more than any other team. Perry is back in his rightful spot, playing alongside Ryan Getzlaf and Rickard Rakell on the top line tonight. Get Perry on the cheap while you can. If the 33-year-old returns to form soon, his DFS value will skyrocket.

Start ‘Em: Connor McDavid, EDM @ MIN, $7,800

It looks to be another wasted season in the prime of Connor McDavid’s career. The GM was fired and the team is just three points out of dead-last in the Western Conference. This isn’t exactly how a generational talent would have envisioned his first few years in Edmonton. Speaking of three points, McDavid’s 78 points on the year trail only Nikita Kucherov’s 81. 78 points, yet McDavid is still only a plus-two on the season. That should illustrate the story of the 2018-19 Oilers better than most statistics. McDavid is the priciest center on the DFS market this evening, and for good reason.

Best Value: Mathew Barzal, NYI @ NJD, $6,600

Mathew Barzal, along with Toronto’s Mitch Marner, is standing on the front line of NHL superstardom. Last year’s Calder Trophy winner has been even better this season. That observation is even more impressive when you consider John Tavares left the team in the off-season. Barzal has 47 points on the year, better than fellow centers Tomas Hertl, Ryan Johansen and Sean Couturier. Much like Perry, Barzal will get a chance to feast on a weak Eastern Conference opponent tonight. The Devils have surrendered 178 goals this season, second only to Ottawa.

Start ‘Em: Roman Josi, NSH vs DAL, $6,500

Roman Josi is the perfect mix of lock and value tonight. One of the league’s best defenseman comes at a bargain price, cheaper than both Brent Burns and Mark Giordano. Josi ranks seventh among all defensemen with 41 points on the season. He’s added 10 points on the power play as well. Nashville’s top-pair D-man has been hot offensively, as of late. Josi has recorded five points in his past three games, including a three-point night on Tuesday.

Best Value: Mikhail Sergachev, TBL vs STL, $4,200

A key piece in the Jonathan Drouin trade, Mikhail Sergachev is developing into yet another star in the Lightning’s lineup. He registered 40 points last season as a 19-year-old. This year, Sergachev has 18 points, ranking third among Tampa Bay’s stacked backend. He hasn’t recorded a point in four games, but a struggling Blues’ team could be the perfect cure for Sergachev at the point.

Start ‘Em: Marc-Andre Fleury, VGK @ DET, $7,800

Marc-Andre Fleury gets the start between the pipes as the Golden Knights travel to Detroit. Although Fleury’s numbers have dipped slightly, he’s still ninth in the league with a 2.47 GAA. And remarkably, he hasn’t surrendered more than three goals in a game in his last 14 appearances. Fleury has been rock solid once again for the Knights. As an added bonus the team squares off against the offensively-challenged Red Wings. Detroit is the lowest-scoring team in the Eastern Conference.

Best Value: Darcy Kuemper, ARZ vs CBJ, $7,200

Here’s a statement you won’t hear too often when it comes to daily fantasy: use the Arizona Coyotes’ backup goalie. But, today, that proclamation holds water. After losing starter Antti Raanta for the long-term, the ‘Yotes turned to Kuemper, who has been more than steady between the pipes. Kuemper has a .911 save percentage for the season, and has already recorded a victory over these same Blue Jackets. Kuemper put up 35-save performance in the team’s 4-1 win over Columbus back in October.
